Background
This website is part of my final year project for the Music Technology course at University West of Scotland. The project aimed to record the reverberant sound of significant buildings and places in Scotland. This was done by exciting the sound field of a space with a logarithmic sine sweep and recording the resultant sound with first order Ambionsonic microphone. The signal was then deconvolved. This resulted in an impulse response (IR) which can be used within a range of sound design contexts. The IRs contained within this site are freely available and are not for resale.
Acknowledgements
This project could not have been completed without the assistance and support of a number of people and agencies. I would like to thank my University tutor, Colin Grasse for his help and support in all aspects of my project. Thanks also to Dave Johnson for his assistance in providing some of the equipment required for the project.

I would also like to thank staff at Edinburgh Caves, The Scottish Parliament, Glasgow Cathedral and Stirling Castle for facilitating my visits, enabling the recording of the impulse responses and being generally helpful.
